Stephane Badji – Brann: The Istanbul minnows completed the signing of Senegalese international midfielder Stephane Badji from SK Brann. The 24-year-old had attracted interest from Sunderland and Crystal Palace but Abdullah Avcı managed to convince him to join. Badji has signed a three and a half year deal with Başakşehir keeping him in Istanbul until July 2018. The Istanbul based side have paid SK Brann the €900,000 million release clause to secure the Senegal international’s contrac

Hüseyin Altuğ Taş – Galatasaray: The Lions had been closely linked with Başakşehir youth Enver Cenk Şahin but Abdullah Avcı managed keeping hold of him. Few were expecting what happened next. Avcı convinced Galatasaray youth Taş to join his side with the promise of regular first team football.

Departures

Nigerian international Michael Eneramo returned to his former club Sivasspor after failing to settle in at Başakşehir. The 27-year-old striker failed to score a single goal in Istanbul but hit the back on his debut for the Yiğidolar.

Orhan Taşdelen joined Roberto Carlos at Akhisar. Murat Akın was signed by Kayserispor, Zeki Korkmaz moved to Elazığspor and Sezer Öztürk was transferred to Eskişehirspor.

Can Arat parted ways with the clubs after six years of service during which time he made 89 appearances for the Istanbul based club.
